The Kebbi Progressive Youths (KEPYO) has expressed satisfaction with the impressive turnout at a mega rally held in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State in support of the re-election bids of Governor Nasir Idris and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The rally, which drew a large crowd from across the state, is being interpreted by the group as a strong indication of overwhelming public confidence in the leadership style of both Gov. Nasir and President Tinubu.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the event, KEPYO spokesperson, Comrade Hamisu Sani, described the turnout as “organic and overwhelming,” noting that it reflects widespread approval of the policies and governance style of the two leaders.

According to him, the enthusiastic participation of residents, particularly young people, underscores a belief that the current administrations are on the right path in addressing key developmental challenges.

Sani further stated that the rally demonstrated unity among party supporters and highlighted the increasing mobilisation of grassroots backing ahead of the next electoral cycle. He emphasised that such public shows of support are not merely symbolic, but indicative of tangible satisfaction with ongoing efforts in governance and service delivery.

The youth group reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining engagement and mobilisation in support of the re-election campaigns, expressing optimism that the momentum generated by the rally would translate into electoral success.

Observers say the rally is one of the largest political gatherings in the state in recent times, signaling heightened political activity as preparations for future elections gradually take shape.
