Kebbi State governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC), will record a landslide victory in Kebbi State for President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The governor gave the assurance on Monday in Birnin Kebbi when members of hunters associations from across the 21 local government areas of the state paid him a solidarity visit at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

Addressing the crowd, Dr. Idris described the visit as a demonstration of the people’s support for the APC-led administrations at both federal and state levels.

According to him, “It is Tinubu’s time now. The President means well for Nigeria and Kebbi State is solidly behind him.”

He urged residents to continue supporting the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration as well as his own government in the state, stressing that leaders are supposed to be obeyed for development to thrive.

“We appreciate your love and solidarity. We will not let you down. Our administration is committed to delivering dividends of democracy to every part of Kebbi State,” the governor said.

Dr. Idris further commended the hunters for maintaining peace and security in their communities and called on them to remain law-abiding and continue to support government efforts.

The hunters, who converged from various local government areas, carried banners and chanted solidarity songs in support of President Tinubu, Governor Idris and other APC candidates.

They pledged to mobilise support at the grassroots to ensure victory for the party across all levels.
