The Council Chairman of Sardauna LGA of Taraba state,  Hon  Umar J. Muhammad on Thursday vowed to deliver 12, 000 votes to governor Agbu Kefas come 2027.

Umar who stated this while answering questions from newsmen over the decision of the governor  to offset the outstanding five months salary arrears of LG workers, Retirees, teachers and traditional rulers owned by past administration said  the payment will ease the suffering of workers in the state.

He noted Kefas since his assumption of office as the governor of the state, he has done what previous administration couldn’t  do for the people.

“Tarabans can testify to the fact that Dr Agbu Kefas’s people-centered policies has recorded landmark achievements in the areas of Education,  Health,  Agriculture, Investment,  Security, prompt payment of workers salaries, Rural Infrastructure and Urban renewal.

He has recorded a very laudable and pragmatic development and is  highly commendable. My local government has over 12, 000 votes and because of what has done for us as people,  we have unanimously endorsed him for second term” he noted.

Umar who informed that governor Kefes has no competition come 2027 maintained that the opposition is very weak to challenge the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

He applauded governor Agbu Kefas for fulfilling the promise made during the time of  Sardauna of Sokoto to the people and  the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for awarding the construction of road across the local government.

“During the plea bagain,  we were promised of roads, hospital and schools, but none of this was fulfilled after 50 years.

It was when Kefas become governor that he provided all this amenities to us. I want state categorically today that governor Kefes is from Sardauna LGA” he said.
