2027: Bauchi Youths Urge Ali Pate to Join Guber Race

From Paul Orude Bauchi
A coalition of youth groups in Bauchi State has called on Muhammad Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, to declare interest in the 2027 governorship election on the platform of the All-Progressives Congress (APC).
The appeal was made during a press conference in Bauchi by the Pate Youths Ambassadors Initiatives (PYI) alongside 101 other groups.
Speaking, the group’s Director General, Prince Mohammed Hassan, described Pate as a competent and experienced leader with a strong record in public service.
Hassan cited Pate’s roles in Nigeria’s health sector and contributions to Bauchi State, including job opportunities for youths and key health institutions such as the Federal Medical Centre, Misau, and upgrades to facilities in Azare and Bauchi.
The groups said the state needs visionary and inclusive leadership, expressing confidence that Pate has the capacity to move Bauchi forward.
They also pledged to mobilize support across the state if he joins the race
