Gombe 2027: Let’s Stay Focused On State’s Progress, Not Politics Yet – Engr. Aliyu

By Najib Sani, Gombe
Gombe APC stalwart and Chairman/CEO of Velocity Group Limited, a construction and contractor firm, Engineer Aliyu Mohammed alias ‘Kombat’ has called on his supporters to remain focused on the developmental projects of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration rather than engaging in premature electioneering campaigns.
In a press release issued to journalists on Thursday, Kombat expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received from groups and emphasised that the current focus should be on the governor’s achievements not to start campaigning for 2027.
He applauded the governor for his legacy projects including the expansion of road networks, construction of modern complexes, and establishment of the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park.
“Let’s remain focused, supportive, and committed to the progress of Gombe State. There’s time for governance and that of politics, when the time is right, we shall commence full political engagements—united in purpose and vision”, he advised his fans.
Our correspondent reports that in recent times youth, women groups and some politicians in the state have made calls to the entrepreneur to join the governorship race in the state in 2027.
