The Supers Eagles started slowly and almost conceded in the first two minutes of the game in what many adjudge thought outside but the assistant referee did not raise the flag.

Iwobi was excellent in the heart of Nigeria’s midfield as he continues to distribute the ball beautifully to his team mates in the attack.

Osihmen ‘s came close to scoring with a header in the 22nd minutes but the ball went wide but fans are impressed by his work load and tireless efforts.

Nwabali was quiet  and almost inactive all through the first of the game as the Angola players were rendered ineffective by Nigeria ‘s ever disciplined defence marshaled by Captain Troits -Ekong.

Another beautiful pass from Iwobi was picked by Moses Simon who outpaced an Angola player to pass the ball to Lookman who finished in style thereby putting the Super Eagles in front in the 43rd minutes.

The second half began with Angola players being more physical but Iwobi came close to making it two but his goal was deflected to corner.
