Lookman Shines Again As Super Eagles Beat Angola 1-0 to Qualify For Semi-Finals

Nigeria’s Super Eagles put 1 -0 past Angola to set up a semi final clash with either Cape Verde and South Africa
The Supers Eagles started slowly and almost conceded in the first two minutes of the game in what many adjudge thought outside but the assistant referee did not raise the flag.
Iwobi was excellent in the heart of Nigeria’s midfield as he continues to distribute the ball beautifully to his team mates in the attack.
Osihmen ‘s came close to scoring with a header in the 22nd minutes but the ball went wide but fans are impressed by his work load and tireless efforts.
Nwabali was quiet and almost inactive all through the first of the game as the Angola players were rendered ineffective by Nigeria ‘s ever disciplined defence marshaled by Captain Troits -Ekong.
Another beautiful pass from Iwobi was picked by Moses Simon who outpaced an Angola player to pass the ball to Lookman who finished in style thereby putting the Super Eagles in front in the 43rd minutes.
The second half began with Angola players being more physical but Iwobi came close to making it two but his goal was deflected to corner.
The Angola team came close to equalizing in the 59th minute but thanks to the woodwork. They continued to test Nwabili who rose up to the task
Nigerian fans went into a wide celebration in the 76tn minute as Osihmen headed into the Angola’s net from a free kick taken by Lookman but was cancelled foe being off side.
There was thunderous shouts from the Super Eagles fans as the referee brought the came to an end after 7 minutes of added time.
