Barde Kukuri Appreciates Buni, Others Over Appointment as Permanent Secretary

Abdullahi Barde Kukuri, has expressed appreciation to Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, for appointing him as Permanent Secretary, Yobe State Local Government Service Commission.

Kukuri, in an appreciation message, described the appointment as both a privilege and a call to greater responsibility and service to the people of the state.

He thanked Governor Buni for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to contribute his experience, energy and dedication towards advancing the administration’s efforts in the state civil service.

“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency for finding me worthy of this responsibility, and I assure you that I will work diligently and faithfully to justify the confidence placed in me,” he said.

The new Permanent Secretary also expressed special appreciation to the Head of Service of Yobe State, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Shehu, for recommending him for the appointment.

He acknowledged the Head of Service’s support, guidance and confidence, saying he remained grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Yobe State in the new capacity.

Kukuri further thanked the people of Nangere Local Government Area for their support, prayers, goodwill and congratulatory messages following his appointment.

He also appreciated his family, friends, colleagues, political associates, traditional and religious leaders, youths and other well-wishers for their support and solidarity.

He specifically thanked his family and friends for organising a Walima and reception in Potiskum to mark his appointment, describing the occasion as memorable.

The Permanent Secretary prayed for continued wisdom, strength, good health and divine guidance for Governor Buni in the administration of the state.

He pledged to discharge his responsibilities with humility, integrity, loyalty, dedication and commitment, while prioritising the interests of the people.

He concluded by praying for peace, progress and prosperity in Yobe State and expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the celebration.
