Lau Residents, Workers Hail Council Boss Over Vehicle Donation To Vice Chair

Workers and Residents of Lau LGA of Taraba state on Tuesday hailed the Council Chairman of Lau Local Government Area of Taraba state,  Hon Peter Julius over grassroots development and donation of brand new official vehicle to his Vice Chairperson.

A Resident of Lau LGA,  Hajia Habibatu Lau while speaking to journalists in Lau said Peter within four to five months in office has provided platform where stakeholders collectively identified developmental priorities. 

“We the people of Lau Local Government are thankful to Governor Agbu Kefas for giving Hon Peter Julius to pilot the affairs of our local government. 

Since his assumption of office, his efforts to compliment Governor Agbu Kefas efforts on insecurity  has yielded positive results” she said. 

She noted that his effort has brought back the lost glory of Lau LGA, and also improved economic activities across communities in Lau.

Also, a local government staff in Lau LGA,  Mr Israel Kununi said the Chairman’s commitment to  grassroot development was second to none. 

He stressed that Hon Peter have sustained an initiative that has improved lives of rural dwellers across communities. 

He maintained that the Chairman within few months in office demonstrated strong determination that has made his administration impactful at the grassroot.

“Within three to five months in office, he has taking  bold steps which has added value to Governor Agbu Kefas infrastructure development, security, education and healthcare across all the political wards in Lau” he added. 

According to him,  the presentation of the brand new vehicle to his Vice Chairperson and refurbishing of Toyota Hilux to Lau Police Area Command was a sign of a committed leader who genuinely cares about his People.
