Keyamo Condemns Release of Indecent Video from Ibom Air Incident, Orders Sanctions

By Ufuoma Omojirhe
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has denounced the public release of a video showing the indecent exposure of an unruly passenger during an Ibom Air flight, calling it “totally unacceptable” and directing sanctions against the staff responsible.
The passenger, identified as Miss Comfort Emmanson (aka Comfort Bob), allegedly assaulted flight crew and ground staff during an August 10, 2025, flight from Uyo to Lagos.
In a statement on X on Monday, Keyamo explained that while recording the incident for prosecution was justified, sharing footage containing indecent exposure was deplorable and an affront to womanhood.
“I have therefore directed that whoever released that part of the video… should be singled out and adequately sanctioned,” he stated.
The minister also urged airlines to train and retrain staff in public relations and crisis management, announcing a joint security meeting next week to improve aviation security coordination.
