ATBU Bauchi Gets New Vice Chancellor

Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba has emerged as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, ATBU Bauchi.
Prochancellor of the University and Chairman Governing Council, Air Commodore Emmanuel K Jekada (retired), made the announcement on Thursday at the end of the council meeting in Bauchi.
Jekada said that the Governing Council of the University approved the appointment of Garba after a rigorous process.
He said the process started since last February with advertisement and after a thorough screening and interview Professor Ibrahim.Hassan Garba emerged first, beating two other contestants for the post.
He urged the new Vice Chancellor to do his best and move the university to greater height.
