40 Feared Dead As Boat Capsized In Zamfara

No fewer than forty people are feared dead in a boat mishap in Gummi community of Zamfara State.
According to locals, the incident happened as the victims were being ferried to their farms in the early hours of Saturday when the boat they were in capsized and sank into the river.
Metoric Post gathered that there were 53 farmers and children in the boat. Only 12 were rescued alive including the captain of the boat and while remaining forty-one reported dead.
