Supreme Court Judgement: Bauchi APC support group, Alhilal Initiative Forum expresses displeasure

A Bauchi-based support group for the All Progressives Congress, which worked for the election of President Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the Party, Alhilal Initiative Forum has expressed displeasure  over last Friday’s Supreme Court judgment.

The Forum lamented that the people of Bauchi State who freely gave their mandate to retired Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar were betrayed.

In a statement issued, signed by its chairman, Alhaji Usman Gokaru, and made available to nrwsmen in Bauchi, the Forum sympathized with the retired air force chief on the verdict of the apex court.

The Forum warned the Party and President Tinubu that until something is urgently done to rescue the Party, APC may soon lose its support base as “our people have been aggrieved with what happened in the last gubernatorial election”.

According to the Chairman, President Tinubu and the Party need to do something urgently to find ways of extending patronage to the people.
