Adamawa: Youth Group Endorses Aliyu Jibrilla For 2027 House Of Reps Seat
A youth coalition in Adamawa State has thrown its weight behind Honourable Aliyu Ahmad Jibrilla’s bid to represent Yola North, Yola South, and Girei in the Federal House of Representatives in 2027, describing his potential candidacy as a “rescue mission” for the constituency.
The Yola North/Yola South and Girei Youth Initiative for Development made the endorsement in a statement issued by Comrade Zakiyyu Abdullahi, Chairman of the Adamawa Youth Initiative for Development.
The group called on him to run under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group said Jibrilla’s record of community service aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Your track record of dedication to community development, youth empowerment, and women’s advancement reflects this national vision at the grassroots level,” the statement read.
Zakiyyu highlighted the aspirant’s contributions to education and economic empowerment, noting that “through scholarships, payment of JAMB examination fees, and opportunities for disadvantaged youths, Jibrilla opened doors to brighter futures.
The coalition also praised his support for women in small-scale businesses, saying it has “strengthened families, boosted local economies, and promoted self-reliance.”
The youth leaders described Jibrilla’s leadership as embodying “integrity, transparency, and accountability, values that build trust between leaders and the people.”
“At the National Assembly, your voice will ensure that our constituency is not left behind, that our youths are empowered, and that our communities benefit from the Renewed Hope vision of President Tinubu,” the group stated.
The coalition pledged total support for Jibrilla’s aspiration, saying they are confident his leadership will foster growth, unity, and opportunities for all while advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda at the national level.
