Israeli attacks on Gaza kill 50 in a day as US envoy visits Lebanon

At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza over the latest 24-hour reporting period, according to the Health Ministry, while the head of Kamal Adwan Hospital says Israeli attacks have damaged the facility in the territory’s north.
US Middle East envoy Amos Hochstein says he has held “very constructive talks” with Lebanese officials in Beirut, adds that a ceasefire deal can be reached in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 43,972 Palestinians and wounded 104,008 since October 7, 2023. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken captive.
In Lebanon, at least 3,544 people have been killed and 15,036 wounded in Israeli attacks since the war on Gaza began.
