Gombe Private Schools Proprietors Honour NHIA Founder, 12 Others at 2024 Awards

The Gombe State chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), has celebrated its 2024 day with an award ceremony recognising outstanding contributions to education.
Nurul-Huda International Academy (NHIA) Founder, Maryam Ahmed Abubakar, was honoured for her commitment to providing quality education.
The association also rewarded 12 others, including government officials and stakeholders with various merit awards.
In her remarks, Maryam thanked the NHIA staff for their tireless efforts and NAPPS for acknowledging her academy’s impact.
The event featured a cultural carnival, parade, and vibrant cultural dances by students from various schools, showcasing the rich diversity of Nigeria and Gombe State.
The state NAPPS chairman, Abubakar Umar, emphasised the need for transformational education, highlighting technological inclusion, innovative practices, and digital literacy as key strategies.
Umar called on members to embrace technology and innovation, and urged the government to support private school owners through legislative measures and cooperation.
He said the celebration promoted unity and dedication to transformative education, fostering a brighter future for Nigeria’s youth.
