At least seven people have been killed and several injured in a fatal accident occurred in Katsina State.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda,  has extended his sincere condolences to the families affected by the fatal accident involving a KTSTA 18-seater  bus.

The ill-fated KTSTA bus, en route from its office in Kankara local government area of Katsina State to Abuja, met with tragedy due to ongoing repairs on the Kaduna/Abuja highway.

The construction work required diversion of traffic, with contractors placing heavy machinery in close proximity to the area, inadvertently contributing to the unfortunate incident.

Regrettably, seven lives, including two children and the bus driver lost their lives
