Dikko Radda receives Leadership Newspaper Governor of the Year 2023 Award

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda has been nominated by LEADERSHIP Newspapers for the prestigious Governor of the Year 2023 award.
The nomination was formally conveyed to the governor at the Katsina State Governors Lodge, Abuja, on Tuesday by the Group Managing Director of LEADERSHIP, Muazu Elazeh, in company with the Director LEADERSHIP Group, Abraham Nda-Isaiah.
The newspaper recognized Governor Radda’s substantial contributions to various sectors, including his impactful efforts in addressing insecurity, reforming education, enhancing healthcare, promoting agriculture, and fostering human capital development.
The nomination came as a testament to his noteworthy achievements within seven months in office, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor ‘s Chief Press Secretary, said in a statemen
Elazeh, whili6 speaking on behalf of the management of the media organisation, conveyed their decision to honor Governor Radda for his dedication and accomplishments.
Elazeh extended the goodwill of the management to the Governor and officially invited him to the award ceremony scheduled for March of this year.
Governor Radda, in his response, expressed gratitude to the Leadership Newspapers team for deeming him worthy of the nomination. He attributed the recognition to the people of Katsina state, emphasizing that the award is a reflection of their trust and overwhelming support during the election.
“This award is for the people of Katsina state. I appreciate this honor, and it will undoubtedly inspire me to further serve the people who elected me as their governor,” stated Governor Radda. He eagerly anticipates receiving the award in March, considering it as a motivation to continue working diligently for the betterment of Katsina State
