The Plateau State Governor elect, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has assures the people of the state of all inclusiveness of his administration with them.
Mutfwang gave the assurance in statement during Sunday service at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) headquarters in Jos, after securing victory at last Saturday’s polls.
The Governor -elect assured the people of the State of an all inclusive and a level playing ground for all to have a sense of belonging.
He equally expressed satisfaction with the electorate for giving him the mandate, and promised not to betray their trust.
He called on the candidates that were defeated at the polls to join hands with administration to build Plateau State.
The governor elect was in company with his wife , his Deputy Honorable Mrs. Josephine Piyo, two former Speakers of the State House of Assembly, Istifanus Caleb Mwansat and Titus Alams, former Commissioners, former council Chairmen and other party bigwigs in the state.
In a Sermon, the Senior Pastor of the Church, Rev. Dr. Sylvester Dachomo, reading from Deuteronomy 6:1-12, spoke on “Building a Strong Family,” admonishing the congregation to be an example to their children in the home.
Dachomo advised parents to demonstrate God’s word in their children through the kind of life they live in the home.
The clergy urged parents to teach the exemplary life and principles of Christ to their children saying that is the only legacy that they can give their children.
He observed that most parents were in the habit of securing the future of their children through their wealth and material things, which may not last, rather, they should invest in them, the word of God, that can change the society in general.
Dachomo recalled that, Governor-elect Mutfwang was in COCIN headquarters, a week to the elections to seek for blessings.
“Today, he has come back to the same Church as governor – elect to thank God, and coincidentally, a March baby, and was elected in March, while his brother, Elder Daniel Mutfwang conducted the service,” he said.
Hr prayed for the governor – elect, his deputy and all elected leaders at all levels for God’s guidance, protection, and wisdom to work for the development of Plateau State.
