Taraba: PDP Chair Condemns Killings of 3, Destructions of Property in Karim-Lamido

The Chairman of the Taraba state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Comrade Obida Bitrus on Saturday condemned the recent Killings of three persons and destructions of property worth millions of naira in Karim-Lamido LGA of of the state.
Bitrus while speaking to journalists in Jalingo urged Tarabans to leave in peace with one another irrespective of religion and tribal affiliations.
“I use this medium to sue for peace in Karim Lamido and every part of Taraba state, we are all brother and Sisters and we must leave in peace irrespective of religion, tribal and political affiliations.
I therefore condemned the recent hostility that led to the killing of over three persons in karim Lamido Local Government Area” he said.
He lamented that the consequence of crisis on every growing community is setback.
He called on the state government to mobilize more troops to the crisis area to address the frequent clashes among tribes and as well as track miscreant and bandits activities in Taraba state.
He advised the people of Karim-Lamido to eschewed violence and tolerate one another irrespective of social background.
He added that the PDP in Taraba state under his watch will give every members equal opportunity and also present candidates that would lead the party to victory in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
