Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Rector Receives Excellence Award

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Sani Umar, has received an Award of Excellence for outstanding performance among polytechnics in the country.

The award was presented by National Observers and Progressive Nigerians, a non-profit organisation.

Presenting the award to the Rector during a ceremony in Abuja, the organisation cited his numerous achievements, including efforts to block all forms of corruption in the institution, as reasons for the honour.

The organisation also commended the Rector for promoting discipline among staff members, ensuring prompt service delivery in line with institutional standards, and providing adequate security for both students and staff

Other achievements highlighted include youth and women empowerment, leadership development, and the remodelling of the institution’s environment in compliance with the government’s Greater Green Wall initiative to provide a serene atmosphere for learning
