2027: Pate Lists Gains as Yuguda, Abubakar Mobilise Support for Tinubu

Stakeholders in Bauchi State, led by former governors Isa Yuguda and Mohammed Abubakar, have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for re-election as Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Development Prof Muhammad Ali Pate has evealed that over 2,000 local youths have secured jobs under the administration.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Development, Muhammad Ali Pate, has disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has provided employment opportunities to no fewer than 2,000 indigenes of Bauchi State since assuming office in 2023.
Pate made this known during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Bauchi on Tuesday, which drew prominent political figures including Yuguda Abubakar, alongside Senator Shehu Buba Umar and oil and gas expert Bala Wunti. The stakeholders pledged allegiance to President Tinubu and endorsed his re-election bid.
According to Pate, Bauchi State remains one of the major beneficiaries of the Tinubu administration, with youths employed across various sectors nationwide. He added that hundreds of Bauchi youths are currently undergoing specialized training at the Petroleum Training Institute Effurun and other institutions across the country.
The minister moved a motion for the endorsement of the President, which was seconded by former Governor Mohammed Abubakar. He urged the people of Bauchi State to reciprocate Tinubu’s gestures, noting that the administration has brought significant development to the state.
Pate further highlighted improvements in the health sector, stating that the establishment of federal health institutions, including the Federal Medical Centre in Misau and a teaching hospital in Azare, has enhanced access to healthcare, leading to safer childbirth for women.
Speaking at the event, Yuguda, who chairs the Renewed Hope Agenda in the North-East, said President Tinubu deserves re-election, citing ongoing reforms he believes will yield long-term economic benefits. He called on the people of Bauchi State to support the President’s second-term bid.
In his remarks, Mohammed Abubakar described Tinubu as a leader who has demonstrated commitment to Bauchi State through key ministerial and political appointments. He urged citizens to sustain their support to enable the continuation of ongoing initiatives.

Also speaking, the Bauchi State Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Hassan Tilde, assured that the party would intensify efforts to mobilise massive support for the President, citing investments in agriculture, education, and other critical sectors.
Senator Shehu Buba, representing Bauchi South, at the meeting, pledged to rally his supporters across the state in favour of the President’s re-election. Similarly, Bala Wunti called on party members and aspirants to remain united, stressing that cohesion within the party is key to securing victory at the poll.
