Gombe APC New Chair Vows Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Bid

The newly elected Gombe State All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Mohammed Dantata, has pledged support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
He made the pledge in his acceptance speech after his election through consensus at the state APC congress held at Pantami Stadium, Gombe as the new state chairman.
Dantata also assured of absolute loyalty and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while promising the state governor, Inuwa Yahaya, of their support to his administration and to foster unity in the party.
The newly elected chairman promised to work in line with the party’s plans and manifestos.
In his speech, Governor Yahaya praised the peaceful congress, seeing it as a sign of unity within the party.
He tasked the new leadership on resilience, duggedness and massive mobilisation ahead of the next election.
The governor expressed confidence in the party’s prospects, stating that Gombe remains firmly APC and that the party would continue to grow and consolidate its position ahead of 2027.
He commended Tinubu’s leadership, citing the president’s commitment to developing the agricultural sector in Gombe and across the country.
