Christmas 2025: Gov  Bala Acknowledges Economic Hardship, Assures Bauchi Residents of Continued Palliatives

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has acknowledged the economic challenges facing citizens and reassured residents of his administration’s commitment to easing hardship through sustained palliative measures.

In his 2025 Christmas message to Christian faithful in Bauchi State and across the country.

The Governor said his government remains sensitive to the realities confronting households, especially amid prevailing economic pressures. 

He appealed for patience and understanding, assuring that deliberate efforts are ongoing to improve living conditions for the people.

Governor Bala Mohammed noted that Christmas offers an opportunity for reflection, compassion and renewed commitment to shared values of love, sacrifice and unity, stressing that these virtues are crucial at a time when many families are experiencing economic strain.

He reaffirmed that his administration has continued to roll out support interventions aimed at cushioning the effects of hardship, while pursuing long-term economic and development policies that will benefit all communities in the State.

The Governor also called on citizens to remain peaceful and united, adding that inclusive governance and people-centred policies remain the cornerstone of his leadership.

He concluded by wishing Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and prayed for sustained peace, unity and prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
