Bauchi Governor’s Media Aide Rewards Gombe Influencer for Promoting Bala Mohammed’s Achievements

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Bauchi State on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muktar Gidado, has gifted Sefiyanu Jibrin Kumo, a popular social media influencer from Kumo Local Government Area of Gombe State, a brand-new Tecno Pop 10 smartphone and a cash donation of ₦100,000.

Presenting the gifts to Kumo in his office, Comrade Gidado commended him for his consistency and commitment in promoting Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and showcasing his remarkable achievements over the past six years.

“You have demonstrated genuine admiration and love for our governor, who has excelled in various spheres of leadership and human development,” Gidado said.

“We appreciate your tireless efforts in publicizing the governor’s activities on your social media platforms without expecting any personal reward. This small token is our way of saying thank you for your selfless support.”

Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Communication, Abdulwahab Mohammed, a former Voice of America (VOA) reporter, lauded Kumo for his contributions to promoting the image of Governor Mohammed and Bauchi State.

He noted that the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, education, health, and governance are visible for all to see, urging Kumo to continue his positive advocacy online.

In his remarks, the Director of Press, Government House, Bauchi, Alhassan Suleiman Dambam, also praised Kumo’s dedication, describing him as one of several influencers outside the state who have been inspired by the governor’s performance.

Responding, Kumo expressed surprise and gratitude for the recognition, explaining that his support for Governor Mohammed stemmed purely from admiration for his developmental strides.

“I never imagined I would be recognized by someone from the government,” Kumo said.

“When I post about His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed, it’s because I truly admire his achievements. What he has done in Bauchi inspires us in Gombe and across the North East. He has made us proud.”

Kumo thanked Comrade Gidado for the gesture and pledged to continue promoting Governor Mohammed’s achievements selflessly on his social media platforms.
