Bauchi Governor Hails Appointment of Dahiru Garba Mohammed as FRCN North East Zonal Director

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has congratulated Malam Dahiru Garba Mohammed on his appointment as the North East Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, the governor described the elevation of the veteran broadcaster as “well-deserved” and a recognition of his professionalism, dedication, and leadership excellence.
Dahiru Garba Mohammed, an indigene of Bauchi State, previously served as General Manager of Fombina FM Yola and Globe FM Bauchi. His work in the media industry, Governor Mohammed noted, has earned him national acclaim for his commitment to the ideals of public service.
“The appointment is a testament to Malam Dahiru’s merit, competence, and unwavering dedication,” the governor said, expressing confidence that his experience and deep understanding of the media landscape would strengthen FRCN’s operations in the North East and across Nigeria.
Governor Mohammed urged the new zonal director to bring his expertise and innovative ideas to bear in advancing the corporation’s mandate, while praying for divine guidance and wisdom for him to excel in the role.
