Chief Executive Officer of Alabura Construction Limited, Hassan Alabura, has hailed the appointment of the deputy national financial secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hamma Ali Kumo, popularly known as Dattuwa, on his nomination as a member of the newly established South East Development Commission (SEDC) governing board by President Bola Tinubu.

In a press release issued by his office, Alabura described Kumo as a strong and influential APC chieftain adding that the appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, dedication to national development, and commitment to the welfare of the people.

“We are thrilled to hear about Hamma Ali Kumo’s nomination to the SEDC governing board. This appointment is a well-deserved recognition of his tireless efforts to promote development and growth of Nigeria,” he said.

Alabura expressed his confidence that Kumo will make valuable contributions to the commission and drive meaningful growth in the region with his wealth of experience and expertise.

Our correspondent reports that Kumo was appointed into the board alongside other notable personalities, including Emeka Atuma as the head of the SEDC governing board and Mark C. Okoye as the Managing Director/CEO of SEDC.

Alabura urged the Senate to expedite the confirmation process of the appointees, noting that the SEDC has a critical role to play in driving development and growth in the region.

“As grassroot mobiliser, Kumo’s appointment is a plus to the APC in view of his loyalty hard work and generosity and I believe his appointment will add value to the commission and the APC government in general.”, he said.
