Bauchi Group Gives Senator Shehu Buba a Thumbs Up
By Ahmed Ahmed
A political pressure organization, Shehu Buba Bauchi South Awareness Group, has pledged to publicize the achievements of Senator Shehu Buba Umar, representing Bauchi South senatorial district.
The group’s coordinator, Yahaya Dan Alhaji Runtu stated this in an interview with newsmen on Friday in Bauchi
He expressed regret that many people are unaware of the senator’s humanitarian and philanthropic activities, as well as his empowerment initiatives for youths and women ¹.
Runtu described Senator Shehu Buba as a humane person who is always ready to assist the less privileged, regardless of their political leanings or religious affiliations.
He emphasized that the senator’s philanthropic gestures, which predate his political career, are worthy of emulation ¹.
The group aims to educate the public about Senator Shehu Buba’s representation activities, with Runtu stating, “We will carry his portraits to tell the people who is Senator Shehu Buba”
This development comes amid allegations linking Senator Shehu Buba to banditry, which have been vehemently denied by the Northern Youth Assembly
The assembly has accused Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, of orchestrating the allegations to discredit the senator
