APC Chieftain Dismisses Alleged Recall Move On Senator Shehu Buba

The Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bauchi South, Honorable Abdulmuminu Kundak, has described as unfunded the purported move to recall Senator Shehu Buba representing Bauchi South Senatorial district of Bauchi State.

Kundac made the clarification while speaking to a select group of journalists on the alleged recall plan, calling on constituents to continue to remain law abiding in addressing issues with the senator.

He said as a well-known politician from Bauchi South, he would never be part of any move to recall Senator Buba whom they vigorously campaigned for and has earned the trust of his people by giving them quality representation.

“As a politician with vast experience, I call on those parading themselves as people of Bauchi south that want to recall Senator Shehu Buba to make themselves open rather than hiding,” he said.

He praised Senator Buba’s quality representation in the Upper Chamber, saying it has contributed to making Nigeria’s internal security more proactive and steadfast in consolidating the federal government’s agenda of securing the country’s porous borders

He cautioned constituents to be wary of envious politicians who are uncomfortable with the record of votes that brought Senator Buba to the Senate and have resorted to sponsoring some gullible people to be spreading lies to overheat the system.

“Senator Shehu Buba has carved a niche for himself as one of the most acceptable and transformative senators ever produced in Bauchi South who’s displaying an all-inclusive politics,” Kundac stated.

 “So far I can testify to his massive achievements in the areas of rural roads, rural electrification, and water supply to several communities in each of the seven local government area he is representing.

“Senator Buba has given scholarships to constituents at various level of studies in tertiary institutions and the most important thing at the moment is provision of palliatives to cushion effect of fuel subsidy.

“I appeal to members of the public to disregard any drama-like recall move to return Senator Shehu Buba from the senate without tangible reasons.

“Senator Buba is a messiah in the current lingering poverty and abuse of power by politicians who are uncomfortable with his popularity and efforts to fulfill the renewed hope agenda of president Bola Tinubu”
