He declared that despite being in the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), his administration holds respect for the President All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government and urged Nigerians to support the administration.

The Governor who observed that the time for politicking is over, noted that all energy and resources needed to be channelled towards good governance as being undertaken by his government.

“We are in the opposition PDP but we respect the Federal Government, we associate with the Federal Government, we work together because we believe in the corporate entity called Nigeria and we must work together”, he said.

Mohammed who commended the traditional leaders for staying away from politics, pointed out that their action has further made them to qualify as fathers to all.

Several dignitaries, including Coordinating Minister of Health Professor Ali Pate.
