A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State Honourable Auwal Yusuf Saifullah has asserted that the victory of Governor Inuwa Yahaya at the supreme court was a blessing to the state.

The party stalwart made the assertion over the weekend when he organised a special feast otherwise known as “Walima” at International Hotel Gombe for his family, friends and party members to celebrate the court’s victory.

According to him, the affirmation of the governor’s victory would enable him continue with the many projects and programmes he initiated for the good of the state.

“Court case usually distracts an elected governor and if someone has started good projects, it is more beneficial for his state if he stays and completes them. Already our governor His Excellency Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commenced tremendous projects and programmes which he needs to focus and complete. So with the recent supreme court’s judgement, all election cases are now over and he will concentrate on work.”, he stated.

Buttressing his points further, the politician said the rebuilding of the government house currently embarked by the governor would not only upgrade the house but would beautify Gombe State capital and make it look like other developed states.

He also lauded Governor Inuwa for the internal security policies he formulated like the launching of “operation hattara”, purchase of vans for security agents and establishment of state vigilante organisation known as GOSTEC opining that they went a long way in ensuring peace in the state.
