The Appeal Court dismissed the appeal filed by the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Saddique Baba Abubakar, dissatisfied with INEC’s declaration.

In its judgment, the Appeal Court upheld the decision of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which had earlier ruled in favour Mohammed second-term victory as declared by INEC.

“On behalf of the entire stakeholders of our administration, I extend my profound gratitude to our Governor, His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for his tenacity, courage, and resilience.”
