Governors of Kaduna and Gombe States Nasiru El-Rufai and Inuwa Yahaya have hailed a Gombe State entrepreneur Adamu Modibbo Abubakar for establishing animals feeds production factory known as ‘Trust Feeds Limiited’ in the state.

They made the commendation over the weekend when they jointly commissioned the new factory located in Yamaltu/Deba local government area of the state.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor El-Rufai said the company would boost business activities and complement government’s efforts in providing jobs to many youth in the state.

While emphasizing the importance of industrialization, El-Rufai encouraged entrepreneurs to set up businesses in the manufacturing sector opining that it is the only way to create job opportunities in the country.

He said under Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Gombe state has become a safe haven for investors and one of the best states in the ease of doing business.

Also speaking, Governor Inuwa, lauded the entrepreneur for investing in his hometown saying it will increase revenue generation and create job opportunities for the teeming redundant youths in the state.

“We thank him for coming to establish the company in Gombe state, not outside the state. My administration is passionate about people’s wellbeing, hence we initiated the construction of the Muhammadu Buhari industrial park, which will create job opportunities for over 100, 000 people. We call on those that are willing to invest, particularly indigenes of Gombe, to come. Government will support them”. He said.

Earlier, the proprietor of the factory, Adamu Modibbo Abubakar explained that the factory would be manufacturing Agro-allied products especially fish and chicken feeds for sale in the state and beyond.

According to him, the factory currently has the capacity to produce 12-18 trucks of feeds monthly which is about 540 tons adding that with necessary government’s support, they would double their production.
