Bauchi Governor Procures Official Cars For 20 Council Caretaker Chairmen.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has presented brand new official vehicles to all the 20 Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairmen in the state.
The official vehicles, he said, is to make their work more easier in reaching out to communities in their Local Government Areas
Governor Mohammed said his administration recognises the contributions of Caretaker Chairmen in the state hence the need to support them discharge their responsibilities.

Represented by the Secretary to the state government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, Mohammed urged them to serve their people well.
The Governor tasked them to bring development to the grassroots by Identifying with the people at all times.
Speaking earlier, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki, disclosed that the vehicles were procured to help their Council Caretaker Chairmen to effectively discharge their duties.

In a remark, the Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria ALGON, Umar Hassan appreciated the gesture of the state governor.
Hassan promised to consolidate and complement the governorgiant strides.
