INEC distribute sensitive material to 20 LGAs in Bauchi State

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has distributed sensitive Presidential and National Assembly election material to all the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State.

Distributing the items, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of the State,  Muhammad Nura, said INEC is fully prepared for the Saturday poll with adequate security arrangement.

Nura said INEC evacuated the materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) aimed at reaching the polling units in time without any hitch to ensure free, credible and fair election.

He said elections will not take place in six polling units in Bauchi State due some reasons.

The Bauchi REC enjoined the people of the state to come out enmass and cast their votes in Saturday elections as their votes would be counted.

He expressed delight for Bauchi been the most peaceful State in the Northeast geopolitical zone.
