Gunmen kill Labour Party Senatorial Candidate

Labour Party candidate for Enugu East Senatorial district, Oyibo Chukwu has been shot dead by Gunmen.

Oyibo was reportedly shot and burnt alongside his vehicle and some other occupants. He was said to be returning from a Campaign trip when the attack occurred around Agbani area of the state.

Until his demise, Chief. Bar Oyibo Chukwu was a legal practitioner based in Enugu with over Thirty years standing at the bar.

He recently filed a suit challenging the candidacy of the PDP in the Enugu East Senatorial contest in the forthcoming general elections following the expulsion of Chimaroke Nnamani from the PDP.
