Bauchi Gov bags Award of Excellence in Rural Development

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has been nominated to receive a distinguished award for excellent performance in rural development by TBS Media in collaboration with the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The award will be presented to the Governor by President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, October 21, 2022 during the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) ceremony at the Conference Centre of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

A press release issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, said the award is in recognition of the massive rural development drives of the Governor.

“This is manifested in the provision of Rural Roads, Rural Health Care Facilities, Construction and Renovation of Schools , Agricultural interventions and the famous Kaura Economic Empowerment Program (KEEP),” the release concluded.
