From David Kuvie Bauchi
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed optimism that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar will win the 2023 Presidential election.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the governor opined that Atiku is more popular than other Presidential candidates adding that the former Vice President was more acceptable.
He argued that Atiku’s popularity and acceptance can be attributed to his antecedents and the current disillusionment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Nigeria people.
Mohammed argued that the popularity of the PDP due to the excellent performance of his administration in Bauchi State in the past three years also gives the party the edge to triumph at both the National and State levels at the polls.

While reiterating his pledge to mobolise 100 percent votes from Bauchi and mobilize the entire north for Atiku in 2023, and assured candidates in the state that his Vice Chairmanship of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (North) will not in any way diminish votes of candidates in the state.
