2027: Taraba Council Endorses Gov Kefas, lauds Him for distributing Foodstufs to Vulnerables

The Council Chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba state, Alhaji Umar Bello Badawari on Saturday lauded Taraba state governor, Agbu Kefas for providing bags of rice and maize for vulnerables in the local government.
Badawari while sharing the items in Jalingo hinted that him and over 30, 000 sons and daughters of Ardo-Kola LGA has endorsed the governor for second term in office come 2027.
He noted that governor Kefes love for the good people of Ardo-Kola since his assumption of office was second to none.
“We endorsed him for second term in office because of how he attend to our issues and the way his administration turned our fortune as people ” he said.
He maintained that the initiative by governor Kefas to provide palliative to the vulnerables was part of the his efforts to ease the burden on citizens and ensure food security.
According to him, the distribution was aimed at ensuring food reaches every household in Ardo-Kola LGA of Taraba state.
He highlighted that the distribution would get across to councillors, former elected officials, ex‑chairman, directors from the local government, assembly members and families of dead former chairman among others who have served the people in past.
Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Bureau for Local Government, Traditions and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Godfrey Dame Andrew described the initiative as timely and impactful, noting that it would significantly alleviate hardship among citizens.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Kefas for the donation, and assured that the items would be distributed fairly in order to reach every community and household.
Dame who was represented by the Director of Local Government, Alh. Muhammed Jungudo, informed Kefas is a God send to the good people of Taraba state.
“Let me states categorically that under Kefas administration, local government areas in the state is given top most priority.
His administration has no doubt brought and place local government areas to its rightful status” he said.
According to him, governor kefes since assumption of office has released funds to both chairmen and chairpersons to execute capital projects that has direct bearing to people at the grassroot.
