Aliyu Danladi Emerges New Gombe Parliament Speaker

The Gombe State Youth Parliament has elected new leadership, with Aliyu Danladi emerging as the Speaker of the third parliament.
Danladi, nominated by Auwal Umar from Akko West and seconded by Ahmed Isiyaku from Funakaye South, will lead the parliament alongside Deputy Speaker Liatu Asaph Lewi.
In his inaugural speech, Speaker Danladi promised to promote youth inclusiveness in governance, empowerment through skills development, and combating drug abuse among young people.
He expressed gratitude to the Gombe State governor for his youth-friendly initiatives and support to the youth parliament.
The peaker also thanked the speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly for recognising the youth parliament, noting that this acknowledgment will foster greater participation and engagement.
The election was organised by the Gombe State House of Assembly in collaboration with the state Ministry of Youth Development.
