Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, disclosed this on Thursday, August 21, 2025, during a press briefing at the State Police Headquarters, Yandoka Road, Bauchi.

Since assuming duty as the 46th Commissioner of Police in Bauchi, Aliyu said the Command has remained steadfast in combating crime through professionalism, intelligence-led operations, and proactive policing strategies.

“The period under review has presented considerable challenges; nonetheless, the tenacity, dedication, and commitment of our officers have been instrumental in sustaining relative peace within the State,” Aliyu stated.

He added that the Command’s achievements reflect the guidance and directives of the 22nd indigenous Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
