Bauchi: Warinje Football Club to Hold Open Screening for Players

Warinje Football Club of Bauchi has announced an open screening exercise for indigenous footballers from Bauchi State who are interested in playing in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
According to the club’s Media Officer, Imrana Yakubu Galaje, the screening will run from Monday, August 18 to Friday, August 23, 2025, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi. Sessions will commence daily at 6:00 a.m.
Galaje described the exercise as a golden opportunity for talented players within the state to showcase their skills and potentially secure a place in the team.
“This is a great platform for promising players from Bauchi to prove themselves and take their football careers to the next level,” he said.
Warinje FC, which competes in the NNL, said it is committed to promoting local talent and giving young footballers a chance to compete at the national level.
