According to a statement from the Office of the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, the state will also launch a collaborative partnership with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) for Data Protection Training and Awareness.
The historic event is scheduled for August 12, 2025, at the Conference Hall, Government House, Bauchi, and will mark a significant milestone in the state’s digital development agenda.
Driven by the Bureau for ICT and Digital Economy (BICTDE) under the dynamic leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed, these initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to equipping its citizens with the tools and knowledge for a secure and inclusive digital future.
The Cybernations Programme, a cybersecurity training initiative in partnership with Protexxa, a Canadian cybersecurity company, aims to build local capacity in cyber safety and resilience.
The launch of the Digital Literacy and Skills Framework , as well as the MoU with the NDPC underscores Bauchi State’s proactive approach to data protection and digital empowerment.
