Manchester United Sign Benjamin Sesko From RB Leipzig

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Slovenia striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £73.7 million, subject to registration.

Benjamin Sesko, 22, has agreed a contract with Manchester United until June 2030. The transfer includes a guaranteed payment of £66.3m, with the remainder in add-ons.

Sesko becomes United’s third major attacking signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

Newcastle United had also expressed interest, but the forward chose to join Ruben Amorim’s side.

Sesko scored 21 goals and provided six assists for Leipzig last season, finishing as the top scorer among players under 23 in Europe’s top five leagues.

At the international level, he has 16 goals in 41 appearances for Slovenia since making his debut in 2021 as the country’s youngest-ever player.
