Some ‘directors’ of a chinese-linked company ‘Crown Ceramics Nigeria Limited’, have appealed to President Bola Tinubu for intervention in a dispute in the firm where the Inspector-General of Police was allegedly involved.

In a letter and video messages to the president, copies which were obtained by our correspondent on Wednesday, the disputing directors said the company, has been operating in Nigeria since 2014 and contributes to the country’s economic development.

The aggrieved ‘directors’; Zhang Kefeng
Zhang Linshuang, Liu Zhengyu, and Liao Yuzhen accused two other ‘directors’ of attempting to unlawfully take over the company.

They said the situation escalated when police officers, allegedly on the instruction of the IG, sealed off the factory in Ogun State, preventing them from accessing ‘their property’ adding that even currently, policemen are stationed at the factory entrance, blocking access to them despite absence of any court order.

The aggrieved ‘directors’ urged President Tinubu to intervene and instruct the IG to remove police from the factory.

“As a result of the above, the company is presently unable to pay staff salaries, the royalties and charges due to the government.

“Your Excellency, we are passionate about our investment and we do not want to lose same. We therefore humbly appeal for your urgent and prompt intervention to save our company by calling on the IG not to meddle or interfere in our private affairs”, they said.
