Governor Mohammed Launches BMCC Ltd in Landmark Bauchi-Shandong Partnership

Bauchi State has taken a major step toward economic growth as Governor Bala Mohammed unveiled the logo of BMCC Nigeria Ltd—a new joint venture between the Bauchi State Government and China’s Shandong Minsheng Group.
The unveiling, held at the Government House in Bauchi, marked the formal launch of the partnership aimed at transforming the state’s mining and natural resource sectors.
The BMCC logo, which blends Bauchi’s traditional motifs with modern industrial elements, symbolizes innovation and cross-cultural collaboration.
Governor Mohammed described the venture as a bold move towards sustainable development, job creation, and economic diversification. He pledged full state support, including infrastructure, investor protection, and a business-friendly climate.
Shandong Minsheng’s Managing Director expressed appreciation for the warm reception and emphasized the company’s commitment to deploying advanced technology for BMCC’s success. She said the project aligns with Shandong’s global cooperation goals.
Mr. Paul, head of the Chinese exploration team, confirmed that technical assessments are ongoing in Dass and Toro LGAs, with future plans to invest in agriculture and energy.
BMCC Nig. Ltd is positioned as a model for Sino-African collaboration, focusing on environmental responsibility, innovation, and local capacity development.
