2027: Concerned Bauchí Alliance Group Canvasses Support For Atiku’s Coalition Party

From Paul Orude Bauchi
A group, the Concerned Bauchi Citizens Alliance, has thrown its weight behind the ongoing efforts by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other notable politicians to form a strong virile coalition movement ahead of 2027 general election.
This was disclosed by Adamu Abdullahi Hassan, the Director Publicity of the group, saying that they are partnering with professional groups, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), opinion leaders, market women, volunteer groups, grassroots mobilizers to support Atiku’s movement.
Hassan believed that Atiku’s proposed “coalition can rescue Nigeria from imminent collapse” in the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration.
“We are solidly behind former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other patriotic Nigerians, Mr. Peter Obi, Rotimi Amechi, Sen. David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Malam Nasiru El-Rufa’I and indeed all Nigerians who are working round the clock to ensure the success of the coalition,” the group stated in a press statement made available to journalists in Bauchi on Tuesday.
“The decision to support the coalition was taken after careful consideration of the present socio-political, economic and security situation of the country from 2015 when APC took over power to date.
“it became obvious that things have gone from bad to worst in the last 10 years that APC has governed this country without doubt
“Concerned Bauchi Citizen Alliance and partners in Bauchi State believe that Nigeria needs good governance and strong policies through institutional implementation, not noise making which APC administration specialized that cannot be achieve without unified platform to address the challenges.
“Therefore the desirability to the sustenance of our democracy that is presently under threat of annihilation cannot be over emphasize, hence the need for all hands to be on desk to rescue it by all patriotic Nigerians.
“We call on the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the judiciary, Nigerian police and security Agencies in the Country to work within the confines of their constitutional responsibility to be neutral before, during and after the 2027 general elections, they should not allow themselves to be used by desperate politicians to subvert the electoral process.
“We are also calling on the international community to continue to monitor closely the electoral process in Nigeria ahead of 2027 elections so as to ensure that the process is transparent, free fair and credible.
“Concerned Bauchi Citizen Alliance and Partners has set the ball rolling in mobilizing grass root support through interactive sessions with members of the public, political leaders across party lines, elders and leaders of thought for their support to the coalition in Bauchi State and beyond.
“Reaching out to the people in the grassroots will ensure that any political Platform to be used by the coalition is already prepared for elections with it’s presence in all over the states, already all members are committed and are putting on their very best.
“Concerned Bauchi Citizen Alliance and partners are calling on eligible Nigerians who are now 18 years to come out and register whenever INEC begins continue voter registration exercise and those that did not collect the PVC to do so, as voting is a fundamental right for every citizen and one cannot votes without the PVC so it is a crucial exercising your right to choose deserving leaders in elections.
“We pledge to mobilize voters in 2027 general elections and ensure the success of candidates from State/National Assembly (Senate /Reps), Governorship and Presidential elections, with team work that can be achieve by God ‘s grace”
