Bauchi: APC Stakeholders Thanked Tinubu For Appointing Dogara Chairman Of NCGC

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from Dass, Tafawa Balewa, and Bogoro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State have expressed their gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing  former Speaker Yakubu Dogara, as Board Chairman of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).

“We consider the appointment of Dogara by President Tinubu as a clear indication of his administration’s responsiveness to the aspirations of the Nigerian people by ensuring that key positions are filled by capable individuals who can deliver efficiently amidst all challenges at critical times. 

“The appointment will not only enhance the effectiveness of governance but also serve to unite the country in the face of challenges that require collective action because of his wisdom and capacity. We remain grateful”

Their appreciation was contained in a statement signed by the APC state Legal Adviser, Rabiu Garba and 19 other stakeholders, made available to journalists in Bauchi.

The stakeholders include Jafaru Gambo Leko, the member, House of Representatives (Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa), Abdulrashid  Mu’azu, member representing Lere/Bula Constituency in Bauchi State House of Assembly, Haruna Rikaya, State Asst. Secretary, APC Bauchi State,. Jemima Dutse, APC Zonal Women Leader, Bauchi South, Umar Jibo, APC Chairman, Dass LGA,  Istifanus Manasseh, APC Chairman, Bogoro LGA, Bello Musa, APC Chairman, Tafawa/Balewa LGA, Mohammed Sadiq, Stakeholders Chairman, Dass LGA, and Michael Gizo Damina, Stakeholder, Bogoro LGA.

Other stakeholders are Haruna Shuaibu Burwat (Tafawa Balewa) Barr. Nataniel Natty (Bogoro) Habila Salem (Bogoro), Suleiman Madaki (Tafawa Balewa), Jibrin Hussaini Jibo (Tafawa Balewa), Dr. Saidu Aliyu Gital (Tafawa Balewa), Dr. M. D. Yusuf Magalam (Tafawa Balewa), Ya’u Muhammad Gital (Tafawa Balewa) and Abdu Usman Aliyu Kardam (Tafawa Balewa)

They described the appointment as well-deserved, and praised Dogara for being steadfast in APC and being loyal to stakeholders and his constituents saying he contributed immensely to promote the party and its progressive agenda.

“He has never wavered in his commitment and has remained as pillars of support and providing mentorship, guidance positive direction in our Constituency, Bauchi State and the Country at large, this is indeed, commendable.” Garba stated on their bahalf

“We are living witnesses and hereby testify that while he was Speaker of the 8th National Assembly, the House which he led has been peaceful and busy discharging its constitutional responsibilities effectively and under his able leadership, has achieved many firsts. It set unprecedented records of achievements in Nigeria’s legislative and political history since the 1960 independence”

They called on Dogara to maintain his commitment to the service of humanity, continuous assistance to people and resilience in pursuing developmental goals for the benefit of our society.

“We know him as a naturally born-leader whose sterling qualities are exceptional. He is one man who grew steadily through hard work, discipline, prudence, fear of God, honesty and can best be described as a bastion of hope, courage, and an epitome of humility to all around him. We believe that his leadership in the NCGC Board will no doubt bring credibility, strategic direction, and impact to the laudable initiative of Mr. President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Garba , on behalf of stakeholders, added

“On our part, we reaffirm our commitment to rally behind President Tinubu and the APC National Chairman with greater support and enthusiasm come 2027, by the special grace of God. We shall continue to pray for our Country and for President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu so that God will continue to guide him and bless him with more wisdom, strength and knowledge to make Nigeria better. We know Mr President has good listening disposition and he is committed for the greatness and property of this Nation.

“Finally, we commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to fairness and inclusivity in this appointment. We stand ready to support his initiatives that promote equitable representation and foster national unity, so that we can build a stronger, more united Nigeria”
