Emir Abubakar Appoints New ‘Dokajin’ Gombe

Emir of Gombe, Abubakar Shehu Abubakar, has conferred new traditional title of ‘Dokajin’ Gombe on a renowned contractor in the state, Anas Adamu Muhammad (Anas Lubell).
Our correspondent reports that the emir announced the conferment of the title on the contractor through the ‘Shamakin Gombe, Usman Muhammad, during a grand event to celebrate the traditional title held at his residence.
The Shamaki explained that the title of Dokaji is a prestigious traditional title within the emirate, symbolising leadership, responsibility, and service to the community.
Also speaking, the ‘Dawakin’ Gombe, Aliyu Muhammad, stated that by conferring the title upon Anas Lubel, the emirate acknowledges his contributions and entrusts him with greater roles in promoting peace, development and the welfare of the people.
He urged the new Dokajin Gombe to sustain his good works and to be a good ambassador and representative of the emirate.
In his remarks, the celebrant who is the managing director of Salbrix Nigeria and founder of the Anas Luberoundation, an organisation dedicated to empowering the youth and supporting community development initiatives expressed appreciation to the emirate for recognising him.
