Breaking: Residents Protest In Jos over Plateau Killings

Our Editor
Hundreds of protesters have stormed Jos, Plateau state capital to lament killings allegedly carried out in major communities.
The protest is led by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Plateau chairman, Rev. Polycarp Lubo.
The protesters blocked major roads in the city, causing traffic disruptions as they marched toward Government House.
The protests followed the recent attacks in some communities in Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas where at least 100 people have been killed.
The protest began at the Fawvwei Junction community road, leading to traffic gridlock and commuters stranded as protesters marched toward Government House to demand urgent intervention over recent killings in communities.
Some of the angry protesters said they were unhappy over the continuous attacks and killings by gunmen in their communities.
They urged the government to intervene before the situation gets out of control.
The demonstrators carried placards with various inscriptions. They marched toward the Rayfield Government House to demand urgent security intervention from Governor Caleb Mutfwang-led administration.
